Many community building have their own website. There are a wide range of domain and hosting providers as well as platforms to write a website with. The Village Hall Development project is collecting data on what Scottish Borders Halls are currently doing with the aim to offer advice.
A good internet connection is essential for all users to access online resources including for events. Providers vary by geographical location and data is being collected by BCA to produce a guide
Social media platforms are varied and used by different demographics. A community building should determine who they want to reach through social media and concentrate using those platforms, posting regularly and with a cohesive 'voice'
Best practice is to have a shared and a private connection therefore a 'separate' guest Wi-Fi for users to ensure security is recommended. Speak to your provider on how to do this.
